See what we have in store.

  • This is the main page for viewing your consumption. Each dot represents consumption in a given category for that day. You can click on any dot to get more information about specific acts of consumption.
  • We show you your footprint in a meaningful way: what would happen in 50 years if everyone lived like you. We also give you a framework of levels, starting at Level 0 with no carbon footprint and increasing along with your emissions, which can help you set short term goals to reduce your consumption.
  • Besides your footprint, we show you information about local and global effects, like change in precipitation, ocean levels, and temperature.
  • We allow you to record absolutely any product that you buy, use, or get rid of that affects the climate.
  • You can add any event, such as buying an apple, on a specific day, or you can set up a routine that automatically goes on into the future.
  • Or you can add the most basic information, such as where you live and what kind of house you have. We will give you the best footprint estimate based on whatever information you add, and it just gets better and better the more you tell us.
  • Instead of just giving you a snapshot of your footprint, The Almanac tracks your emissions over time, allowing you to see your progress and really know what difference you are making.
  • To make keeping track of your purchases as simple as possible, we let you link to online accounts with your bank or utilities. Much of your purchase information is online already, and we let you use it.
  • You can see a breakdown of your purchases across consumption categories to help you visualize your footprint and see where you might be able to make reductions.
  • We want to help you learn more about the products that you buy so that you can make better purchases. The Almanac will show you where your products come from, and what part of their supply chain causes the most emissions.
  • The Almanac automatically creates recommendations tailored to your lifestyle, and offers you things you can do differently that will have the largest impact while being the easiest to make happen.
  • Thanks a lot for taking the time to check out The Almanac.<br>You should try our prototype!
